Well, the blizzard didn't hit us too badly; only about 6 inches of the stuff. However, strangely enough, instead of everybody going on their Wii Stations and playing VirtuaSled, the kids were out behind Boro Hall in New Milford on their sleds, snowboards, or, if lacking anything else, cardboard boxes and blankets.

The sledders all found the best public hill in town, leading right to the ball fields.

The presence of this reporter at the bottom of the hill did not deter the sledders in the least.

Even the adults were getting into the act.

Some, however, decided to stay home instead of going out. To each, his or her own.
